An assortment of bands will join us, including bagpipes, the Amherst Town Band, and various old-time musical groups, during the parade procession around the village green.
Floats
Local organizations, businesses, and individuals have decorated floats with this year’s theme. Awards will be announced as part of the reviewing stand ceremony!

Antique and Classic cars participate in the parade for a host of awards. Award categories to include: Best Overall, Best Pre-WWII car, Best Pre-1968 car, Best Convertible, and Best Performance Car

The Amherst, N.H. 4th of July Parade depends on volunteers from across the community. From planning and coordination to supporting activities on parade day, volunteers help ensure the event runs smoothly and remains a successful tradition for residents and visitors alike.

About Us
The Amherst, N.H., 4th of July Committee is a town committee run entirely by volunteers. The objective of the committee is to organize family-friendly activities to celebrate the 4th of July in Amherst, N.H. Each year, approximately 5,000 people come together in the historic Village Green to enjoy the festivities as a community.
