The Parade: step-off 10am

Bands

An assortment of bands will join us, including bagpipes, the Amherst Town Band, and various old-time musical groups.

Floats

Local organizations, businesses, and individuals have decorated floats with this year’s theme. Awards will be announced as part of the reviewing stand ceremony!

Antique Cars

Antique and Classic cars from every decade participate in the parade for a host of awards. Award categories to include: Best Overall, Best Pre-WWII car, Best Pre-1968 car, Best Convertible, and Best Performance Car

About Us

The Amherst 4th of July Committee is a 501c(3) town committee run entirely by volunteers.  The objective of the committee is to organize family friendly activities to celebrate the 4th of July in Amherst, NH.  Each year, approximately 5,000 people come together to enjoy the festivities as a community.
