For many years I have enjoyed painting in oils and watercolors whether it is done in the studio or outdoors en plein air. I am captivated by how light and shadow can affect the landscape. By constantly seeking to improve upon the atmosphere and depth in my work I hope to allow for a better viewing experience. My artwork is composed from oil and watercolor studies done on location, my reference material and remembered observations. I enjoy being in art exhibits and outdoor shows where I am able to have personal conversations about the art.
I am currently a juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association, an associate member of Oil Painters of America, and a signature member of both the Alaska and New England Watercolor Societies. For more information please visit my website.
